Director of Brand Communications & Membership Marketing for FLORENCE, responsible for brand voice, storytelling and membership growth for world’s greatest surfer, John Florence’s eponymous brand.
Then:
Recruited by Activision to level up digital innovation and social strategy for Call of Duty (the #1 selling video game franchise of the last 15 years) – and play way too much Warzone™.
Rewrote the social playbook, crafted the brand voice and led worldwide communication for Hurley, helping the iconic ‘H’ bring its in-water innovations to surfers everywhere through compelling marketing during its Nike-owned tenure.
Had the time of my life (and maybe my best-ever job) as a high school kid working at one of the last original surf shops in San Diego – Mitch’s – a stone's throw from some of California's best waves.
